Who are we and what makes us tick?
Founded in 2009, during the school pick-up, Beautiful British Designs works as a seamless extension to any size of Design company or solo Designer.
Comprising a carefully-selected team of happy women, meet our account managers, marketers, copy-writer, sales-support experts and finance-savvy PAs.

Meet the Team
Hi I’m Janet
I’m the bossy and structured one!! Well, someone has to keep the team in check and being the eldest I feel that I am made for the job!!
I am the other half of the Beautiful British Designs partnership and have been working alongside Cathy for over 10 years. During that time, we have had some highs and lows. But the one thing that has kept the partnership going is a joint passion for great customer service and our ability to laugh out loud – a lot!
My other passions are my family and my dog not always in that order!! I am married with two children – well I say children they are 21 and 24 but will always be my babies. I also have a love of food – cooking it, eating it, and talking about it and to go with good food there has to be good wine – preferable red and plenty of it.
Hi I’m Cathy
I’m the other half of the original Beautiful British Design team. I totally love my job, with over 15 years of experience working with incredible designers based within the independent gifting sector my enthusiasm and passion for helping you succeed is still here.
Switching off from work is tricky for me, sometimes whilst making that cup of tea at home I can have that eureka moment of how we can help our clients solve a problem and I have to say I secretly love that!
I am married and have 2 teenage boys and a cat so totally get how difficult it can be to juggle family and work. When I do get downtime, I love to travel, walk and spend time with the family (I’m on a mission to teach the kids that my sense of humour rocks and I can actually sing! It is a mission I am losing, but time will tell!)
Hi I’m Debbie
I’m the newest member of the team. I’m a photographer by trade but finding something that worked around being a single mum to four children has been really hard – and then I met Cathy and Janet!
I can see how passionate they are about the service they provide and I was lucky enough to be taken under their wings. I feel at home and a real part of the BBD team now!
In my spare time when I’m not photographing a wedding or a family, I’m normally out with my children or tinkling on my piano. I’d like to say I’ve got some skills but I’m not sure the neighbours would agree!
